You can see an old Japanese building after you entered the north entrance.

The Japanese building is the last remaining Camphor Office in Taiwan. The Camphor Lab was built during the period of Japanese rule.

Next to the Camphor Lab is the Plum Garden.

Here is the biggest plum garden in the Northern Taiwan. The white flower is also the National Flower of Taiwan. It is a symbol for resilience and perseverance, because it blossoms during the cold winter from late December to January.

Jiaobanshan Residence was one of Chiang Kai-Shek's resort houses. This place reminded Chiang of his hometown. Now it's an exhibition hall that opened for the public.

The Siqin Pavilion is where Chiang and his wife enjoyed the view of Xikou in their leisure time. After Chiang passed away, his son, Chiang Ching-Kuo, would often come to the pavilion and reminisce about his parents.

The view from the Siqin Pavilion. Chiang liked this view because it's similar to his hometown.

It always crowded on the weekend during the plum blossoming season.
