It is very convenient to go there by public transportation. Firstly, you go to Taipei Zoo Station by MRT. After that, you transfer from MRT station to Maokong Gondola by walking about 5 minutes. At last, get off at Maokong station.

After leaving Maokong Station, you will see a sign which can direct you to the Camphor Tree Track(樟樹步道). Following the sign.

This photo was taken on the track about 5 minutes walking from the gondola station.  What I notice first is several tea farmers picking the tea leaves. In the middle of picture, you can see many yellow flowers, the lupins. It seems like a nice day to go out and enjoy this nature scene.

Lupin, also known as "lupinus" or "lupine", is a genus of flowing plants in the legume family, Fabaceae. The genus includes over 200 species.

In spring, these lupin will be used for the organic manure. That is because the tea farmer have changed to the organic agriculture nowadays.

In the end of the track, you can find a temple, Zhang Shan Si(樟山寺). The temple has a great aerial view on Taipei City. Also, it is a good place to enjoy the city night view.
