Taipei︱Silver Grass on Keelung Mountain

(Oct-Dec) Keelung Mountain is located near the popular tourist attraction, Jioufen Old Streets. Autumn is the best time to see the silver grass there.

Public Transportion and Route
Take any train to Ruifang Station(瑞芳火車站).

Transfer to the Keelung Bus(基隆客運) No.788 or 825 to the Geding stop(隔頂).

Then walking about 40-60 min to the mountain top.

The hiking gate(登山口) of Keelung Mountain is located near the famous attraction, Jiufen Old Street(九份老街).

The parking fees are about 100 NTD per day around this area. NOTICE: it's normally crowded on holidays and difficult to find a parking space. Please consider to take the public transportation.

Another side of view is Jinguashin(金瓜石).

Walking along the stone steps to the top.

The 360° bird view from the top is awesome. You can see Jinguashin and the northeast coastline such as the Bitou Cape(鼻頭角) and the Shenao Harbor(深澳港).
