Taipei︱Silver Grass on Datun Mountain

(Oct-Dec) The most famous scenery of autumn sliver grass in the northern Taiwan is on Datun Mountain. The silver grass glows at sunset.  It attracts many photographers and tourists to capture this amazing scene every year.

Public Transportation
Take the Capital Bus R5 from MRT Jiantan Station(劍潭站) to the Yangminsha Bus Termianl(陽明山總站).

Transfer to the bus No. 108 then get off at the Erziping stop(二子坪).

About 40-60 min walk from the bus stop to the Datun Mountain peak.

There is a road to the observatory building on the Datun Mountain peak so you can go to the top by driving.

However, it's so crowded in autumn season and the parking spaces are not enough. It's better to arrive early before the sunset when you drive a car.

If the visibility is good, you can see the beautiful coastline with sunset.

The silver grass on Dutun Mountain at sunset is definitely the famous autumn scenery of Taiwan.
